I enjoyed all the presenters of the videos, they really took their time to get me involved and explained all the content clearly. I also enjoyed the videos that talked about current and future trends.

I am very pleased to attend this course. I made a start in the field of IT with this course. Videos and texts are very clear, speakers are very good. Examples from real life are very useful to embody.

This was an awesome content by Google on Technical Support Fundamentals. As far as my point of view is concerned I liked this course a lot as everything whatever was taught was from scratch which simply means that even a layman could learn from the content taught. Apart from all this I guess I learned a bunch of things garnished with the soft-skills present. Once again, thanks to all the instructors who made this a success.

I was drawn to this course for several reasons. I don't think the cost/benefit can be beat anywhere and the fact that the content is developed by Google says a lot. IT will only get more and more intertwined with our everyday lives and this course will help get my foot in the door so I can prove what I can really accomplish. Covered a lot of topics in the first course and it looks to only get more exciting going forward.

Great job ladies and gentlemen! It is the best IT training course I've ever seen. The personal opinions and advice are really priceless to me. I also love the practical experience in virtual labs. One area for improvement - there were couple of errors along the way, some of them you've pointed out yourselves but there are still some hanging around. I've tried to point them out in individual lessons, hope the feedback helps.

I learned the basics of technical support, such as dealing with customers, installing, updating and deleting programs. I also talked about getting to know the operating systems and how to deal with different commands, as well as getting to know the tangible parts of the computer and the function and location of each of them in a more realistic way. Other interesting things that I learned in this course.. This was have fun

This was my first real introduction to IT after spending a lot of time growing up around technology (so I had very minimal knowledge). The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and very good at explaining concepts. The course structure was very well done and easy to follow. The workload was very manageable. I would very much recommend this course to anyone and hope to be able to continue the program when I get the money.

Technical support fundamentals provide very much of important knowledge required for a career aspirant who wants be successful in IT support field. Despite being the 1st course among the others, it still covers lot of important topics required for a candidate to improve and nourish his/her skills and knowledge on IT. I'm really satisfied with the course and as refresher I'll refer most of the topics in this course again.

For me, as a person who have a previous idea about IT, this course was easy in the hardware, software and programming sections. However, it was difficult to learn and understand network and memorizing the special protocols and how it works, as it was the first time I heard about it in my life. As for Troubleshooting, it was really useful not only in terms of information technology but in all other professional fields.

All of the material has been put together very well. I enjoyed the lessons were broken up into small chunks of time. I especially enjoyed the introduction to VM & Linux. The last section on interview skills and the elevator pitch was one of the best parts of the course. Thank you for all the great instructors in this course and for making the information so relatable and easy to learn. Looking forward to my next course.

such great information and knowledge to gain at a basic level that it reinforces any information that you've learned before. I dabbled in IT before I even knew it was reffered to as IT. But with this course I was able to cement myself in the basics and history of what really is Information Technology and gained plenty of information on what it stands for and what it truly means to understand it in it's barebones aspect.

This course has been very informative. Becoming an IT support specialist can be exciting and rewarding. The chapter on Troubleshooting is very helpful. Documentation seems to be an important practice. It is often difficult to see how critical it might be. The system used for documentation needs to be carefully selected and strictly adhered to. New techs should be trained on how to use the system and how important it is.

The Fundamentals course is very good and well put together! IT touches base on a little bit of everything else that you will learn on your way to the Technical Support Certificate. It is designed for everyone, whether you have little to no experience or are taking a refresher. For me the hardest to get through was the Customer Service section. I am very much looking forward to the rest of the courses in the certificate.

While the technical information is known to me I learned a lot of useful stuff about how to handle customers, how to narrow down a technical problem for good troubleshooting skills and also what I need to do to prepare for the encounter with my potential employer.

I know this course is barely scratching the surface of the IT support personnel's knowledge and skills. So I can't wait for the next course. Let's go Google.

all binary nubers can be looked up, need to go to next section

from the terminal istaliing and removing programs in the virtual lab does not work

command sudo apt install firefox get error message no candidate

and when it did run error broken files ------it should have been as easy as windows install and removal.

last projject for linux install broken in vm install for firefox did not allow a work around

This is a great course to not only brush up on your tech skills, but to broaden your knowledge. Don't be swayed by the word fundamentals, as if you're already going to know everything. I can almost guarantee you that there is something in this course that will be new for you. I loved learning binary and realized I am great at math. I loved building a computer and gained self confidence. I highly recommend this course.

Lo más interesante que aprendí en este curso fue todo sobre redes y sistemas operativos. Al mismo tiempo, cómo trabajar, retener, ayudar e involucrar a los clientes.

Tuve que prestar más atención en las semanas 5 y 6 pero realmente puedo entender todo. Y, por supuesto, quiero seguir tomando otros cursos de Certificado Profesional de Soporte de TI. Para mí, este es el comienzo de un hermoso mundo nuevo de conocimientos.

The first course is a very good introduction into IT. It outlines all of the relevant topics that will be discussed in future courses in a way that is easy to understand. It is also not intimidating, although the thought of some of the later courses makes me feel anxious. I am still 100 percent committed to learning this because I want to know more about computers and how they work. Thank you for offering this course.

As someone coming from a very limited IT background this course made the information easy to learn process and apply. The course is presented in a very easy to follow format and the provided reading material provided ample information to help me learn. Further the interactive labs allowed me to practice what I was learning in a controlled environment. I'm really looking forward to the other Courses in this program.

From an agricultural background, when I started this course, I thought I wouldn't be able to even understand this course. But all the isntructors put so much of their efficiency in training us that with every new lesson my interest grew to a next level and I understood each and every point the instructor was explaining. I am hopeful I will complete the whole course of Google IT expert and try to find a career in IT.

One of the best courses out there and I would recommend it to anyone to take it. Even if it catches your attention, do yourself a favor and just take the course. This course provides a very informative and broad scope of what IT is about and you will learn A LOT! The troubleshooting module covers general skills that can be applied at any customer service job. This course is highly beneficial for anyone who takes it.

As someone with a couple learning disorders, but mostly auditory processing issues- the first thing I noticed was the subtext underneath the videos. I also love that you can rewind if you missed, or simply misunderstood what was said and want clarification.

The pace of the course was perfect for someone pretty new to tech support like myself, and the concepts were broken down really well too. Definitely recommending.
