I recently completed the Microsoft IT Support Specialist Professional Certificate through Coursera, and it was an incredibly valuable learning experience. This program provided a strong foundation in essential IT support skills, including: Hardware and software troubleshooting Cybersecurity and privacy fundamentals Microsoft 365 ecosystem and system configuration Technical diagnostics and problem-solving techniques The hands-on approach and real-world examples helped me improve my confidence and readiness for entry-level IT roles. I especially appreciated how the course combined theory with practical tasks, making complex topics more accessible and applicable. Overall, this certification strengthened my technical knowledge and boosted my ability to support users, resolve IT issues, and understand secure networking practices. I highly recommend it to anyone starting a career in IT support.

Gave excellent knowledge in regards to IT basics in addition to much more, my main problem in this course were with some MCQ questions that had several outcomes yet they were only few who were recognized to be true. Regardless, great knowledge learned!

This was an excellent course, especially because the platform allowed me to learn at my own pace. It was great for revisiting previous studies and picking up new techniques. Highly recommended for anyone looking to strengthen their IT support skills.

Very informative and articulated.

Very Useful Course

Initially, I really enjoyed the learning process of this course, but as I progressed through each module, I was disappointed that the learning materials weren't more varied and visually stimulating. Most of the videos were nothing more than a lecture, without interesting visuals to keep things interesting and memorable. In many cases, I found reading the video transcripts to be more useful as I could take my time when complex details were being explained. I would have liked more interactive lessons, or videos showing actually IT professionals doing their jobs, talking about their experiences, showing actual hardware, computer components, network equipment and real-life examples instead of just someone telling a story about hypothetical situations. So much of this course involved terminology and acronyms. I spent a lot of time creating notes of these details because they were impossible to memorize especially at the rapid pace they were mentioned throughout the course. It would be nice to have a printable glossary to accompany this course instead of having to create one myself. Overall, I learned a lot, but it could have been less tedious if better use was made of the videos.
